Jose Ferreira is founder and CEO of Knewton, an adaptive-learning company whose infrastructure publishers and education companies use to power course materials that dynamically adapt to each student’s needs. Knewton was named a 2011 Technology Pioneer and a 2014 Global Growth Company by the World Economic Forum at Davos. Prior to Knewton, Ferreira was a partner at New Atlantic Ventures (formerly Draper Atlantic), a strategist for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, and an executive at Kaplan. He serves on the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Education & Skills and on the advisory boards for Laureate International Universities, Cambridge University Press, and the ASU/GSV Education Innovation Summit.
