Artist and Computer Scientist
Jonathan Harris is an artist and computer scientist who works with data visualization and interactive storytelling. His projects include a search engine for human emotions, an unconventional documentary about an Alaskan Eskimo tradition, and an interactive film about the daily lives of sex workers. His work has been exhibited all over the world, including MoMA, Centre Pompidou, and The Barbican Center. TIME magazine named his project, Cowbird, one of the 50 Best Websites of 2012. Harris has won three Webby Awards, was a 2009 Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, and was Print magazine’s 2008 Visual Artist.
