John Delaney is the US representative of Maryland’s 6th congressional district (D), first elected in 2012 and focused on restoring the nation’s economic competitiveness for a strong middle class, raising the standard of living, and expanding the number of good jobs available to Americans. A longtime entrepreneur and business builder, in 2011 he founded Blueprint Maryland, a nonprofit dedicated to invigorating Maryland’s private sector. Delaney is also founder and chairman emeritus of CapitalSource and founder of HealthCare Financial Partners. He serves on the board of Georgetown University and the National Symphony Orchestra. In 2017, Fortune magazine named him one of the World’s 50 Greatest Leaders.
