John Church is executive vice president, chief supply chain officer, and leader of global business solutions for General Mills, with responsibility for nearly half of its 38,000 employees. He oversees worldwide sourcing, sustainability, logistics, manufacturing, global engineering, and safety. With an expanded leadership role in global business solutions since 2017, he’s also focused on driving growth and efficiency through processes that reduce complexity, increase focus, and enable faster decision-making. Church started at General Mills in 1988 and has held leadership positions across the technical community, starting as a product developer in the cereal division, where he led several new product initiatives, including the development and commercialization of MultiGrain Cheerios in 1991.
