Jeffrey Cole is a research professor and director of the Center for the Digital Future at USC Annenberg School for Communication, positions he has held since 2004. He is also founder and director of the World Internet Project. An expert in technology and emerging media, Cole is an advisor to governments and leading companies worldwide as they craft digital strategies. He has worked with the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations on media and telecommunications issues. Previously, he was director of the UCLA Center for Communication Policy and served as principal investigator of the Network Television Violence Monitoring Project.
