Garth Graham is vice president of community health and impact for CVS Health and president of the Aetna Foundation. A cardiologist and professor of medicine, he was deputy assistant secretary in the US Health and Human Services Department under Presidents Obama and George W. Bush, also leading the Office of Minority Health and the first National Health Disparities Plan. Earlier, Graham was assistant dean for health policy at University of Florida School of Medicine. Widely featured in the media, his board service includes the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute Advisory Council, the Institute of Medicine Board on Population Health, and the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research, among many others.
