Edward Stack is chairman and CEO of DICK’s Sporting Goods, leading the country’s largest full-service sporting goods retailer since 1984. Under his leadership, the Fortune 500 corporation grew from two stores in upstate New York to more than 800 DICK’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, and Field & Stream stores. Stack serves on the National Retail Federation Board of Directors and the advisory board of Wharton’s Jay H. Baker Retailing Initiative. His numerous recognitions include the Force for Good honor from the Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose in 2019, being named a Groundbreaker at the New York Times 2018 DealBook Conference, and induction into the National Sporting Goods Association Hall of Fame in 2006.
