Dennis Scholl

Vice President, Arts Program, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation

Dennis Scholl is vice president of arts for the Knight Foundation and founder of a series of initiatives dedicated to building the contemporary art collections of museums. He is a four-time regional Emmy winner for his work in cultural documentaries. Scholl’s first feature documentary, Deep City: The Birth of Miami Sound, premiered at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival. He is also co-founder of Betts and Scholl, an award-winning wine project, and a visiting scholar at MIT Media Lab. In 2012, he was a Harvard University Advanced Leadership Fellow. Previously, he was a practicing attorney and CPA.
