Daniel Leithinger is a doctoral candidate in the Tangible Media Group at MIT Media Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research focuses on actuated tangible interfaces and interactive shape displays. Prior to joining the Media Lab, Leithinger completed his master’s of science at Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences, Hagenberg. He has worked at research institutes around the world, including the Futurelab in Linz, Austria; HITLab in Christchurch, New Zealand; Interactive Media Lab in Singapore; and Disney Research Lab in Pittsburgh.
