Bob Costas is the Olympic primetime and “Football Night in America” host for NBC, including play-by-play, studio hosting, and reporting. A 27-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, he co-hosts NBC’s coverage of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes and contributes to a variety of NBC programs, including “NBC Nightly News” and “Today.” A commentator for MLB Network, Costas’s Fair Ball: A Fan’s Case for Baseball was a 2000 New York Times best-seller. He has been honored as Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association a record eight times and in June 2012 was inducted into the NSSA Hall of Fame.
