Bidtah Becker is an associate attorney for the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority. Prior to this, she was the director of the Navajo Nation Division of Natural Resources from 2015 to 2019. Previously, Becker was an attorney for the Navajo Nation focused on water rights and natural resources for over ten years. She is on the leadership team for the Water and Tribes Initiative in the Colorado River Basin, where she co-chairs the Universal Access to Clean Water effort and is a member of the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission and Navajo Nation Water Rights Commission. In 2012, President Obama appointed Becker as an Institute of American Indian Arts and Culture trustee. She is a sustainer of gallupARTS, an arts council serving northwest New Mexico.
