Arthur Bloom

Founder and Director, MusiCorps; Founder and Director, Renovation In Music Education (RIME)

Arthur Bloom is a composer, pianist, and the founder and director of Renovation In Music Education and MusiCorps, which helps severely wounded warriors play music and recover their lives. Bloom’s credits span from the Kansas City Symphony to “The Colbert Report.” He created the Concert Curriculum, a program in which students collaborate and perform with a professional orchestra, and, working with NASA, he created a science version of the Concert Curriculum. Bloom leads the MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band, the performance component of MusiCorps, which has performed with Yo-Yo Ma, Roger Waters, Aaron Neville, and Oleta Adams, among others.
