Alison McQueen

Alison McQueen is an associate professor of political science and history at Stanford University and a steering committee member of the Stanford Civics Initiative, where her research focuses on the history of political thought. Prior to this, she was the 2022-’23 Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Associate Professor for Distinguished Teaching at Princeton. Previously, she held research fellowships at Princeton’s University Center for Human Values and Stanford’s Humanities Center. She is the author of Political Realism in Apocalyptic Times.
