Ali Rezai is executive chair of the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the John D. Rockefeller IV Chair in Neuroscience at West Virginia University. A pioneering neurosurgeon who has devoted his career to advancing the treatment of neurological and mental health conditions, Rezai previously held leadership positions at New York University, the Cleveland Clinic and The Ohio State University. He has led multiple teams in research resulting in breakthrough treatments in Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, brain/spinal cord injury and addiction. He has authored over 200 scientific publications, holds 65 United States patents and has presented his research to the president of the United States, members of Congress and other leaders. His research has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Washington Post and on “60 Minutes,” “Good Morning America,” “The Today Show” and many news channels.
