Aaron Kesselheim

Aaron Kesselheim is an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and a faculty member in the Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics Division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Within the division, he created and leads the Program On Regulation, Therapeutics, And Law (PORTAL), a research core on intersections among prescription drugs and medical devices, patient health outcomes, and regulations and the law. Kesselheim has testified before Congress on pharmaceutical policy, medical device regulation, and modernizing clinical trials, and has consulted or served on committees for the NIH, FDA, and others. He also teaches a course on FDA law at Yale Law School and edits the Journal of Law, Medicine, and Ethics.
