William Frist

Chairman of the Executive Council, Cressey and Company; Former US Senator (R-TN)

William Frist is a heart and lung transplant surgeon and chairman of the executive council of Cressey and Company. He represented Tennessee in the US Senate for twelve years, serving on the Health and Finance committees and as majority leader from 2003 to 2007, after serving fewer years in Congress than anyone in history. Frist’s current board service includes the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Kaiser Family Foundation, Bipartisan Policy Center, Center for Strategic and International Studies, Harvard Medical School Board of Fellows, and the Nashville Health Care Council. He also serves on corporate boards including Theranos, Teladoc, AECOM, Select Medical, Aspire Palliative Care, MDSave and Unitek.
