Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Director of Stanford Early Life Stress and Pediatric Anxiety Program, Stanford School of Medicine
Victor Carrion is a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and director of the Stanford Early Life Stress and Pediatric Anxiety Program in Stanford University’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Department. He also provides psychiatric services at Revenswood Family Health Center, serving as the pediatric psychiatrist. Carrion is commissioner of the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission, appointed in 2011 by California’s attorney general. He chairs the scientific advisory council for the Center for Youth Wellness, which he helped launch. Carrion also serves as consultant to organizations, including the Student Mental Health Policy Workgroup and The Tipping Point Community.
