Uwe E. Reinhardt

James Madison Professor of Political Economy, Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton University

Uwe E. Reinhardt is the James Madison Professor of Political Economy and a professor of economics and public affairs at Princeton University. His research has been focused on health economics and policy. Reinhardt has served on several government commissions, including the Physician Payment Review Commission, and is currently on the Kaiser Family Foundation Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured. His honors include the Governor’s Gold Medal of University of Saskatchewan, the Federal Merit Cross (Germany), the William B. Graham Prize for Health Services Research, and the National Institute of Health Care Management Outstanding Leadership Health Care Award in 2013.
