Umamaheswar Duvvuri

Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center

Umamaheswar Duvvuri is director of robotic head and neck surgery and assistant professor of otolaryngology for the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Health System and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He specializes in the use of robotic surgery to treat patients with head and neck tumors and teaches robotic surgery around the world. A Fulbright scholar, Duvvuri’s research interests focus on the development of haptic feedback for robotic surgery and development of single-site systems to improve robotic surgery techniques. He has authored numerous research publications and book chapters and is a member of the American Head and Neck Society.
