Tony Fadell

Founder and CEO, Nest

Tony Fadell is the founder and CEO of Nest, creator of the Nest Learning Thermostat. Prior to Nest, founded in 2010 and acquired by Google in 2014 for $3.2 billion, Fadell served as senior vice president of Apple’s iPod division, reporting to Steve Jobs. He was responsible for creating the first 18 generations of the iPod and the first three generations of the iPhone. Before joining Apple, Fadell was co-founder, chief technology officer, and director of engineering of the Mobile Computing group at Philips Electronics. He was the architect of the award-winning Velo and Nino personal digital assistants.
