Filmmaker, Artist; The Moxie Institute
Tiffany Shlain is a filmmaker and artist at The Moxie Institute. Most recently, she directed Connected. She is founder of the Webby Awards and was honored by Newsweek as one of the Women Shaping the 21st Century. Shlain is also co-founder of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Her films have been selected at more than 100 festivals including Sundance, have been translated into eight languages, and have received more than 40 awards. In 2010, she was invited to meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to discuss how technology is changing the landscape in society. Shlain is on the advisory board of Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Geospatial Lab and she is a Henry Crown fellow of the Aspen Institute.
