Shiza Shahid co-founded the Malala Fund with Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and led the organization as founding CEO. She now invests in start-ups, innovators, and entrepreneurs who are combating poverty. She is an advocate for women entrepreneurs, and hosts a women’s storytelling salon that brings together leading female entrepreneurs to collaborate. Shahid’s awards and honors include an appointment on the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Education, the Tribeca Institute Disruptive Innovator, and Forbes’ 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur. She is featured in magazines including Forbes, Fast Company, Glamour, Town & Country, and Elle and has been a commentator on TCNN, ABC, Al Jazeera and MSNBC.
