Shao-Lee Lin is executive vice president, head of research and development, and chief scientific officer of Horizon Pharma. She was previously a corporate officer and vice president of therapeutic areas, development excellence, and international development at AbbVie, leading immunology, virology, neuroscience, and general medicine across on-market and pipeline compounds as well as international development across all therapeutic areas. Prior to AbbVie, Lin was vice president of inflammation and respiratory development at Gilead and held leadership positions in immunology and other therapeutic areas at Amgen. She has also been a clinical scholar at Rockefeller University and an adjunct faculty member at Cornell, UCLA, Stanford, and Northwestern medical schools.
