Shannon Turley

Kissick Family Director of Football Sports Performance, Stanford University

Shannon Turley is director of football sports performance at Stanford University, where in eight years he has helped the team to four straight BCS Bowl appearances and consecutive Pacific 12 conference championships. Previously, he was director of athletic performance for the University of San Diego Toreros’ 16 sport programs (2006); graduate assistant then assistant director at University of Missouri (2001-2005), and coach of the Class-AA Wichita Wranglers (2001). The National Strength and Conditioning Association recognized Turley as College Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2013, and FootballScoop named him 2011 Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year.
