Sam Tanenhaus

Sam Tanenhaus is a contributor to Bloomberg Politics and Bloomberg View. He was previously an editor of the Sunday Book Review and the Week in Review at The New York Times. Before joining the Times he was a contributing editor at Vanity Fair. His book Whittaker Chambers: A Biography, which won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and was a finalist for both the National Book Award and Pulitzer Prize. His articles and essays have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, The Atlantic, The Prospect, Vanity Fair and other publications. He is a Riggio Lecturer at The New School for Social Research.
