Professor and Dean, BRAC University School of Public Health
Sabina Faiz Rashid is dean and professor at Brac University’s James P. Grant School of Public Health, teaching gender and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Working closely with the LGBT community, she is helping establish SHARENET, a virtual platform in Bangladesh, at the school’s Center for Gender. Rashid is also leading a USAID-funded program on developing the next generation of public health leaders and is a visiting professor at Berlin School of Public Health. She is an international member of the WHO Secretariat, the Coalition for Bodily and Sexual Rights, Bangladesh Health Watch, and the executive committee of ICAAP, an international HIV/AIDS conference. She has over 60 publications.
