Ronald Brownstein is editorial director for strategic partnerships at Atlantic Media, where he writes a weekly column and regularly contributes other pieces to National Journal, contributes to Quartz and The Atlantic, and coordinates political coverage and activities across the company’s publications. He was previously a columnist and political correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and a correspondent for National Journal. Brownstein is a senior political analyst for CNN and was an ABC electoral analyst during the 2012 election. He is the author of six books. A two-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the 1996 and 2004 presidential campaigns, Brownstein is the recipient of several journalism awards.
