Robert Rubin is a senior counselor at Centerview Partners investment banking firm. Prior to this, he was a senior advisor and board member at Citigroup. Previously, he was US treasury secretary from 1995 to 1999 after serving in the Clinton administration as director of the White House National Economic Council. Rubin began his career at Goldman Sachs and culminated his 25 years there as co-chair. Author of In an Uncertain World: Tough Choices from Wall Street to Washington, his new book is The Yellow Pad: Making Better Decisions in an Uncertain World. Rubin is co-chair emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations, vice chair of the Mount Sinai Health System trustees board, and chair of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation.
