Renée Fleming

Renée Fleming is a singer who has performed at major occasions from Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace to the Super Bowl. She is creative consultant for the Lyric Opera of Chicago and artistic advisor at large for the Kennedy Center. Her most recent album is Berg: Lyric Suite; Wellesz: Sonnets, with the Emerson String Quartet. Author of a memoir, The Inner Voice, she was awarded the 2013 National Medal of Arts and has five Grammys, including the Best Classical Vocal award in 2013. Fleming has also been awarded the Fulbright Lifetime Achievement Medal, Germany’s Cross of the Order of Merit, and France’s Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
