Philippe Cousteau

Philippe Cousteau is an Emmy-nominated television host, environmentalist, author, and social entrepreneur. He is the host and executive producer of “Awesome Planet,” a series syndicated on Fox and Hulu.com. As a special correspondent for CNN, he has hosted several award-winning shows including “Going Green” and “Expedition Sumatra.” In 2004, Cousteau founded EarthEcho International, a leading environmental education organization that works to activate the next generation to solve the most critical problems facing people and the planet. He has lectured on environmental issues at the UN, Harvard, and elsewhere. Cousteau’s many co-authored books include Going Blue and Make a Splash. He is the grandson of filmmaker and explorer Jacques Cousteau.
