Peter Byck is director, producer, and writer of Carbon Nation and a faculty member at Arizona State University in the School of Sustainability and Cronkite School of Journalism. He is currently in production for Carbon Nation 2.0, an ongoing series of short films produced in collaboration with ASU. Byck’s 20-plus years’ experience includes directing Garbage, which won SXSW Best Documentary Award, directing MTV shows, and editing documentaries and promotional shorts for numerous clients. He is a public speaker who has appeared on “Real Time with Bill Maher” and NPR’s “Science Friday” and has presented Carbon Nation to major corporations, government audiences, universities, and conferences.
