Paula S. Apsell is senior executive producer of “NOVA” and director of the science unit at WGBH, the PBS affiliate in Boston. She has overseen production of hundreds of science documentaries, including the distinguished miniseries “The Fabric of the Cosmos” with Brian Greene and “Making Stuff” with David Pogue. In its 42nd season, “NOVA” is the most watched science series on American television and has won every major broadcasting award. Apsell is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and served on the board of Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History.
