Pat Mitchell

Executive Producer, Pat Mitchell Media; Curator, TEDWomen

Pat Mitchell is co-curator of the TEDWomen global conference and advises foundations and corporations on women’s empowerment and leadership development, media relations, and governance. She was previously president and CEO of the Paley Center for Media, president and CEO of PBS, and president of CNN Productions, where she produced programs that received 35 Emmy and five Peabody awards. Mitchell has taught at University of Georgia, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Harvard University’s Institute of Politics. Chair of the Women’s Media Center and Sundance Institute boards, she also serves on the boards of V-Day, Participant Media, Skoll Foundation, and Acumen Fund. Among her honors is The Women’s Media Center’s first Lifetime Achievement Award.
