Pamela Hartzband

Pamela Hartzband is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School and attending physician in the Division of Endocrinology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she is also medical director of the Thyroid Biopsy Center. Hartzband has authored articles in the New England Journal of Medicine on the impact of electronic records, uniform practice guidelines, monetary incentives, and the Internet on the culture of clinical care. She and Dr. Jerome Groopman are bimonthly columnists for ACP Internist, the publication of the American College of Physicians. They also co-wrote Your Medical Mind: How to Decide What is Right for You.
