Padmasree Warrior

Padmasree Warrior is executive vice president and chief technology officer Motorola, where she leads a global team of 26,000 engineers in research and development. She directs Motorola Labs, software, emerging early-stage businesses, and intellectual property portfolio, where she has accelerated innovation by reducing time from labs to market by half, realizing a ten-fold increase in the flow of ideas from research into products. A graduate of Cornell University and the Indian Institute of Technology, in 2001 she received the “Women Elevating Science and Technology” award from Working Woman magazine. Under her leadership, Motorola was awarded the 2004 National Medal of Technology.
