Norman Lear is the producer of television shows including “All in the Family,” “The Jeffersons,” “Maude,” “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman,” “One Day at a Time,” and “Good Times,” as well as the 2017 Netflix remake of “One Day at a Time.” His memoir, Even This I Get to Experience, provides an inside look at the advent of television, and he was profiled in the PBS American Masters biography, “Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You.” Lear has received four Emmy awards, a Peabody, and the National Medal of Arts from President Clinton. He founded People for the American Way, The Business Enterprise Trust, and the Environmental Media Center.
