Niall Ferguson is the Milbank Family Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and a senior faculty fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University. Ferguson is also a visiting professor at London School of Economics. The author of 16 books, his latest is “Doom: The Politics of Catastrophe,” which was shortlisted for the Lionel Gelber Prize. Ferguson is currently writing “Kissinger, 1969-2023: The Player.” A columnist at Bloomberg Opinion, he is the founder and managing director of Greenmantle advisory firm and co-founder of Ualá, a Latin American financial technology company. Ferguson is a trustee of New York Historical Society, the London-based Centre for Policy Studies and University of Austin.
