Myrna Blyth is senior vice president and editorial director of AARP Media, overseeing AARP The Magazine, AARP Bulletin, and the website, book, and broadcast divisions. Previously, she was editor in chief and publishing director for Ladies’ Home Journal and More magazine. Blyth has authored two novels, the nonfiction best-seller Spin Sister, and many articles for various publications, including New York and The New Yorker. Her awards include Advertising Age’s Publishing Executive of the Year, the Women of Achievement Award from the New York City Commission on the Status of Women, and Magazine Publishers of America’s Henry Johnson Fisher Award.
