Myriam Curet

Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Intuitive Surgical; Surgery Professor, Stanford University School of Medicine

Myriam J. Curet is senior vice president and chief medical officer of Intuitive Surgical and a surgery professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. She has directed Stanford’s minimally invasive surgery program and has served as associate program director for its general surgery residency program, associate dean for medical education, and senior associate dean for graduate and continuing medical education. Curet was previously on the surgery faculty at University of New Mexico. She has served as chair of the American College of Surgeon’s Committee on Resident Education and is past president of the Association of Women Surgeons. She was awarded the Association for Surgical Education Outstanding Teacher Award in 2006.
