Morgan Neville is a documentary filmmaker and founder of Tremolo Productions. He directed 20 Feet From Stardom, for which he won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Over a 20-year career, Neville has been telling stories of culture and politics. He has been nominated for three Grammys for his music films: Respect Yourself: The Stax Records Story, Muddy Waters Can't Be Satisfied, and Johnny Cash’s America and won an Emmy for Hank Williams: Honky Tonk Blues. Some of Neville’s other films include The Cool School, Beauty Is Embarrassing,and John Steinbeck: An American Writer.
