Vice President and Director, Rodel Fellowships in Public Leadership, The Aspen Institute
Mickey Edwards is a vice president of the Aspen Institute and director of its bipartisan Rodel Fellowships in Public Leadership. Previously, he taught at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Edwards represented Oklahoma in Congress from 1977 to 1992, serving in the House Republican leadership. Early in his career, he was a reporter and editor and worked in advertising and public relations. A frequent public speaker and media contributor, he is also the author of Reclaiming Conservatism and The Parties Versus the People. Edwards is a board member of the Constitution Project and the Project on Government Oversight.
