Michael Weissberg

Professor and Executive Vice Chair, Department of Psychiatry, University of Colorado School of Medicine

Michael Weissberg is a professor and executive vice chair of the Department of Psychiatry at University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he has held several positions since 1972. He is also medical director of the sleep disorders program at Boulder Community Health. Trained as a psychoanalyst, Weissberg has authored many scientific articles, chapters, and books on sleep and other topics, in addition to trade publications including Dangerous Secrets and The First Sin of Ross Michael Carlson. He has received numerous honors and has appeared on national television and radio shows, including “Larry King,” “Oprah,” and the “Today Show.”
