is the president and CEO of Local Initiatives Support Corporation. Prior to joining LISC, he was the executive vice president of the Pew Charitable Trusts, one of the largest private foundations in the country. Rubinger has more than 30 years experience in the housing and economic development fields. He worked for the city of New York as assistant commissioner of employment and training, and he was also responsible for planning and implementing various housing and employment-related national demonstration projects for the Manpower Demonstration Research Corporation, a nonprofit policy research corporation. Earlier in his career, he helped to administer the Ford Foundation’s community and economic development initiatives.
