Matt Kibbe is president and chief community organizer at Free the People, a post-partisan grassroots community advocating civil and economic liberties. He most recently served as a senior advisor for a super PAC supporting Rand Paul for president. Until 2015, he was president of FreedomWorks, a grassroots advocacy organization that he founded in 2004. Kibbe is a distinguished senior fellow at the Austrian Economics Center in Vienna. He is the author of the New York Times best-seller Don’t Hurt People and Don’t Take Their Stuff: A Libertarian Manifesto and is a regular guest on FOX News, HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, and CSPAN.
