Mark Beeman

Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience, Northwestern University

Mark Beeman is a professor of psychology and neuroscience at Northwestern University. His work on the brain bases of insight and creativity has been recognized by several awards in several academic fields. Beeman co-edited the book Right Hemisphere Language Comprehension and co-authored a book on how the brain produces aha moments, due out this year from Random House. His research has been funded by National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, John Templeton Foundation, and the Office of Naval Research. Beeman is a Kavli Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences and an Association for Psychological Science Fellow.
