Marilyn Serafini

Marilyn Serafini is a health care policy consultant. From 2012 until May 2017, she was president and co-CEO of the Alliance for Health Reform, a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping policymakers understand the foundations of health policy, the roots of the nation’s health care issues, and the trade-offs posed by proposals for change. Previously, Serafini was an award-winning journalist covering Congress, the White House, and K Street for various publications. She was the Robin Toner Distinguished Fellow and senior correspondent at Kaiser Health News, a health care and welfare correspondent for National Journal magazine, and a senior reporter for CongressDaily (now National Journal Daily).
