Manoush Zomorodi is host and managing editor of the weekly podcast “Note to Self” from WNYC Studios. Through experiments and conversations with listeners and experts, she searches for answers to life’s digital quandaries. Zomorodi previously reported and produced around the world for BBC News and Reuters, was a conference host and instructor for Mediabistro, and was a media consultant for Human Rights Watch. She is the author of the forthcoming book, Bored and Brilliant: Rediscovering the Lost Art of Spacing Out, and has won numerous awards, including four from the New York Press Club. In 2014, the Alliance for Women in Media named her an Outstanding Host.
