Founding Chair, Music-in-Education Certificate Program, New England Conservatory
Lawrence Scripp is founding chair of the Music-in-Education concentration at New England Conservatory. Following a decade of research at Harvard Project Zero, Scripp became founding director and principal researcher for the Center for Music-in-Education (CMIE), a research and development organization that provides consultanting services in arts education, program evaluation, research design, data collection, and analysis. He has served as a principal investigator on many arts partnerships in urban school districts, and created and served as co-director of a Learning Through Music charter school in Boston.
