Kathleen Sebelius is CEO of Sebelius Resources and an expert consultant on health policy, health care reform, and human service delivery. As secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services from 2009 to 2014, she led the effort to pass and implement the Affordable Care Act. Sebelius was governor of Kansas from 2003 to 2009, Kansas’s elected insurance commissioner from 1995 to 2003, and served four terms in the Kansas legislature. A frequent keynote speaker, she is a board member of Grand Rounds, Hampton Creek, and Humacyte and a senior advisor to Enhanced Pharma, Out Leadership, and the Aspen Institute, co-chairing the Aspen Health Strategy Group.
