Josh Wyner

Executive Director, College Excellence Program, The Aspen Institute

Joshua Wyner is a vice president and executive director of the College Excellence Program at the Aspen Institute, whose first two initiatives are the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence and the New College Leadership Project. Wyner has spent the past two decades as a nonprofit leader, initiating organizations aimed at improving and equalizing educational outcomes. Earlier in his career, he spent several years as a program evaluator and attorney. He has authored numerous reports, op-eds, and other publications about education, including a 2014 book, What Excellent Community Colleges Do: Preparing All Students for Success.
